Papaya Enzyme

Papaya contains two important enzymes, chymopapain and papain, known for their effectiveness in treating gastrointestinal disorders. Papaya is also an effective treatment for diarrhea and dysentery.  It contains mild laxative properties and is a bowel stimulant.
